Is it safe to drink tap water in Egypt?

How many days are ideal for a complete trip to Egypt?
An ideal Egypt itinerary ranges from 7 to 10 days. This allows enough time to explore Cairo’s pyramids and museums, take a 3- to 4-night Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, and optionally relax for a couple of days by the Red Sea in Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh.
